Anyone trying to skate tomorrow in pittsburgh? I'll be in town around noon and I'm trying to skate for a little bit, preferably park. I'm only in town from noon until thursday morning then i'm off to philadelphia but let me know. I'm not 100% sure i'll have time to skate but if there is going to be people skating i'll make it happen.
I'd love to blade. There's 2 decent parks near my house (which is probably also where the most bladers are in a general area). One park is a FUN pre fab park, all the ledges have a kind of square coping that is made of that fast recycle plastic, and the rest of the park flows great. Other one is a sweet cement park, but there's mandatory helmet laws and the cops are DICKS.
I'll be able to blade around 330 if you're down, I'll PM you my number.
It's $5 for all day, but that would probably be our best bet. It's closer to the city, a decent amount of people would go, AND we could force Ron Copeland to come out and blade with us haha.
Mr. smalls would be dope, i haven't skated that place since 2005(ish) . And i'd love to see Ron! I'm real pumped for this. I can probably skate from the 3:30-8:00 timeframe.
