    Default made a video handle for my slr

    total money invested was $1.97 everything else was laying around in my garage










    just added the grip


    PS, i don't have a vice, I used a rock and a brick

    might add a mount for a light

    That's pretty awesome, was going to say add some sort of grip to the handle to make it more comfortable.

    Wrap the handle in the some bike tape or something. Holding that is going to get very annoying very quickly, it may even compromise a good shot.

    Good work man. would probably have been more comfortable to have a rounded part for where you hold it. But, either way that is fucking sick.

    Im thinking about making a Glide Cam for my SLR camera that i don't have yet.. don't think it would be too hard.

    Built this a few weeks ago. This is the position for fisheye filming (worm's-eye). It also has a mount in the 'middle bar' so you can operate the flimsy camera more smoothly.
















    It also protects the body a little bit if you decide to drop your camera...

    I added a bike grip, it's much better now

    I'm not sure the length of the metal I used but I used all of it

    lens is Tamron 17-50 2.8 DiII SP with no image stabilizer

    the key is the gimbal.
    for skating, you might just wanna buy a used monopod, hang that shit upside down, and flip it in post. smooths things out as well as most home-made stabilizers and lets you get nice and low.
