Default anyone here into Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros?

sorry, I forgot how to embed AGAIN. Anyways.. just wondering if anyone is into this band. They're coming to the Ritz in Ybor October 16th. Gonna be a seriously fucking trans formative show, that is, for me at least. They are just so unique, and fucking 12 members makes it so much more fun. folk ftmfw. Love the contrast in voices between the two main vocalists.

Me too! one of my favorites. It was a toss up between seeing them or Built to Spill, unfortunately both are on the same day. But I've already seen Built to Spill live twice, so I'm taking advantage of this rare opportunity for sure.

I saw them at UCLA on a whim. They put on a hell of a show, had a good time. I can't get too stoked on them though, as I feel that too much of their appeal is their capitalizing on a bygone era, which I think is wack.

pfttt. A good show is a good show. That's sick you saw them though, from what I've heard they are really fun to watch, which is pretty obvious. I dig the whole concept. It's weird that he's the singer from IMAROBOT. Sounds nothing alike to me.

yes! i stumbled upon them while listening to some random album called 'F#@king Catalina Wine Mixer, Vol. I'. i don't remember how i came across that album, but it's full of goodies. i've been listening to Up From Below almost daily since March.

I love kids. They're short, highly emotional people who don't know anything. They rely on their creativity and imagination to get by in the world. A world, I might add, filled with giants. Amazing feat.

Haha, they're only the biggest buzz band this year.

New Ima Robot record comes out in October, too.
