Rolling Banks Jam: A Proposal
Alright. There hasn't been a good comp, aside from the ECTSC, in the city for a long time, a really long time. It seems that IMYTA won't be making a return to the big apple for a good couple of years, so I think an annual NYC comp is overdue. Yeah, there are the Superhicks and the Hoe Downs, but what about a real New York Street comp? I am just proposing this, as a new type of comp that would take place during the summer. Give me your ideas, negative or positive, just give me advice or your opinion to make this work. Some proposed spots:
The Brooklyn Banks
China Town Ledges
Battery Park
Ideas?Comments?Etc? Please help.

Actually, the apperance of last year's NYC comp, Last Man Standing was a complete success. The skater turnout was pretty high and they were guest appearances from Colin Kelso and Sam Grimm. So, NYC has had a refreshing change with this new comp. I hope they do it this year as well. Then again, I see what you mean. NYC needs way more comps. I mean, last year's ECTSC was fun, but the pros showed up till the very end. With the addition of Last Man Standing, it makes 2 street comps. Um..spotwise, I don't know too many spots. How's about flushing? Just in case, I can ask my friend about good spots. Other than that, I agree with you fully with the need of more comps. Also, all the spots you named except battery park (good spot btw) were in Last Man Standing
