    Default Cambridge, MA

Moved here from Glasgow, Scotland years ago. Used to skate all the time back when, getting back intae it just now - is there any scene here at all?

I have been here 4 years and haven't seen any skaters...ever...and I have lived all over the city

There are a ton of spots here that I can see folk have skated but I've never see a fuckin sole on the streets

    Yes.
http://riskatecrew.com/Messageboard.aspx is the local new england message board.

The scene used to be stronger a few years back, but there are still a decent amount of bladers.

I'd be willing to meet up and shred sometime soon.

Where in Cambridge? I live Cambridgeport, recently moved here and started blading with some guys a few weeks ago. We're definitely skating this weekend if you want to meet up.

Ain't like it used to be. Jared posted the riskate link, click it and maybe you can find some people. Jared is cool. The pool by alewife is a sick spot, the benches inside is a winter spot. Sometimes people skate the island in harvard square (near the gyro spot). When I left bean, a lot of cambridge spots became a bust. The rail in hardard law, asia, the ledges in front of rindge, and the boathouse are all spots that may get you arrested. Be careful and don't skate anywhere without a local.

    Good luck'
