Yeah let me rant a bit about why this is the wrong way to go;

The Salomon boot has what, 8 or so different shell sizes? Left and right, you are looking at probably hundreds of thousands of dollars. Even if you can get the money, to justify it you're gonna need to sell tens of thousands of pairs. If it were justifiable, someone else (Salomon, Powerslide, etc etc) would have done it already.

But look at the construction method for the Carbons. You buy a set of lasts, you lay up & stitch up as few pairs as you like. Use fibreglass to cut costs, but most importantly you don't need half a million to get started.....and once you've started you don't need to make half a million back.

Fuck, why not just start a skin company since so many skaters have Nimhs or Valos. All you need is a sewing machine, some patterns & a stack of leather?
