well im sure the team is glad your not working for them since he could quite possibly be one of the best quarter backs ever in due time!

yeah dude, i hear hes good at throwing footballs at plates.
    blahhhhhh whatever. im just frusterated.

We DO need a QB. And i guess stafford is the only justifiable #1 pick in this draft.

You're right, if i worked for the lions i wouldnt have chosen stafford, i would have drafted all defense. Curry going #1

I think you just need to be a lions fan to understand, we had the 2nd worst defense in NFL history last year. Culpepper is serviceable and there is a glutton of of good QB's coming out next year.

so yeah, not a diss on stafford he is damn good. well, i hope he does not get killed this year, or even worse, become HARRINGTON'ed.

This just in, im not pissed anymore....just happy not to be a raiders fan.

7th pick in the draft really?

Analysis: A major reach here as the Raiders take the fastest wideout in the draft. Heyward-Bey is an explosive vertical threat; however, he is very raw as a route-runner, lacks great hands and might end up being one of the worst values in the 2009 draft.

    fail

OMG, DETROIT LIONS ORGINIZATION, please go fuck yourself.

Rey Maualuga available at pick 20, lions go with a tight end wtf?!

How could you pass that up considering we dont even have a starting MLB on the fucking roster.

imho spending that kind of money on a rookie is stupid...70,000,000$...

That poor kid will never be motivated to be the best ever because he already has 70,000,000$

His guaranteed money is ridiculous too.

I'm just glad the Redskins didn't pick up Mark Sanchez like Dan Snyder would love to. We got too many other issues to worry about.

the lions are completely and utterly hopeless

    another high pick QB ?

oh geez, a WR in the 3rd round? another fucking WR

    they will never learn

they shouldve gone ALL o-line and d-line in this draft

    build from the inside out

damn lions. even if Stafford becomes amazing QB, whats it matter when you have shitty OL and he gets sacked 1 down outta 4. Or even worse when your shitty OL can't block and some Def player puts a nasty hit on Stafford and ends his career.

stafford is so fuckin overrated. they definately should have drafted curry #1 and Michael Oher #20. Next year Bradford, McCoy, and Tebow are all coming out. The lions will probably be shitty again this year regardless so they would have a shot at landing Bradford or McCoy in the 1st (or trade up if need be) or take a risk on getting Tebow in a later round. I dont think the Lions did bad outside of the 1st round besides Aaron Brown at RB.

In other news...Falcons had a great draft besides the 2 CBs.

I kill threads like nobody's business

come on man... first round picks "a lot of times" are stupid. For example, look at Stafford, dude hasn't even practiced with the team yet and he is guaranteed more money than anyone in nfl history.

you ask me, bears got away good because now they could use all that money to resign a few players they will need to resign next year then maybe go after some big name player that goes into free agency.
