Default What Xsjados should I get?

I am thinking about riding Xsjados again. I skated them years ago (farmer 1s) and wasn't keen on the souls, but I'm getting older and larger souls would seem appropriate considering I don't skate so much now.

The only ones I like are dark coloured ones. The Basics and the Schwabs look cool. They are priced pretty closely in the UK so whats the main differences?

is it worth the extra for the Schwabs? How are the footwraps? Is the hardware better on the pro models?

Importantly, can I spray paint the green fabrics black? Does that work well? I hate the green.

    Schwab

    Basics

    Thanks!

The Schwabs are waaaay better. Just forget the Basics. Cuffpads suck, anklestraps suck, monostrap suck.

    Oh, and...

yeah, as long as you avoid the first few conference models, you are good. they kind of sucked on the first few tries. prolly going to get the farmer 4s before i need to, but then again, i could use my older xsjado straps and padding on them and they would be even better.

Everything about the Schwabs is better except that the footwrap fits pretty narrow/short through the toebox and forefoot. Which isn't a good or bad thing actually, just a difference. The wraps in those Basics fit pretty neutrally. Also, the Schwab wraps run about a full size small, so size up with those. The Basic wraps run pretty normal.

are those fucking basics? they better not be, because i see t-nuts in the instep. RW promised me that the basic instep had no way of mounting the pro strap to it.

They are the same thing. You just need someone with tiny hands to navigate the receptor thing that holds the screws in place.

I hated them, the velcro was a JOKE, they always came loose, and the fabric tore really fast. You can put the butterfly thingy in basic insteps, just un-sew a little from the top of intsep, put female receiver in, sew back, and BOOM!

Stay with the pro model straps, you will not be sorry.

The insteps and strap are not even connected... Looks like someone just threw extra parts together.
