Default Do Razors SLs have the same bulky feeling as the Genesys shells?

looking into buying new skates, and although the carbon 2s look amazing, i've skated deshi carbons since i came back to rolling, looking to try something different. all the skates ive loved have been flexible, light and not too bulky, the genesys shells just felt too bulky, like they were too big, are the SLs more compact in feel? also what are the shell sizes?

SLs are amazing. Control is good, torque based tricks are so easy it should be illegal, souls slide fast too. Not bulky like the Gen shell, but they are roomier than the cult shell. Alot lighter than the Gens as well. They do not feel bulky like the Gens either. Feel more like cults than gens. US 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13. I wear a men's 9.5 wide US and the US 8-9 shell fit's perfectly.

sick, i think they'll last longer than carbon 2s aswell, the liner in my deshis was the first thing to go and you can't replace it. i wear an 10.5 us 9.5 uk shoe, id have to have a bigger shell :/ thats whats always put me off hard boots, because my feet are already pretty big compared to my body, im 5'8, having the big shells feel abit extra boaty

My feet are 26.7 cm long and 10.8 cm wide. Measure your feet, you might be able to size down.

I wear a US 9 UK 8 with some toe room, I'd say yes but try to get some on your feet before you buy them..

cheers, there's no skateshops that stock blades within miles and miles which really sucks, i might have to order some and pay for postage to change the size if they dont fit. hmm. thanks for all the info G.

SLs are awesome. A lot better than Genesys and fit a lot better.
Slide faster but I hate how the souls are hallow and wear through super quick.

True. But more than that I wish that rubber BS plate wasn't under the stock BS plate. I wish the stock BS plate was just like the rubber one cause it's perfect but super slow on rails. And I wish the souls are only an inch wide.

I like the removable BS plate. I've never skated the one underneath. Fit is perfect for me, I just wish the negative was shaped like the neg on carbon souls.

they should just make a rubbery bs plate as well which you can buy as a preference option. but then again, the demographic for that probably isnt large enough to break even
