just watched the third episode of the second half of the second season
i love how amazingly rich and complex the group dynamics are right now
three very strong characters vying for the leader position (hershel, rick,shane) with very different leadership styles. what's really cool is that each one has their strengths and weaknesses... there is no clear cut Best choice.
rick's biggest weakness and strength is his compassion
shane's biggest weakness and strength is his selfishness
hershel's biggest weakness/strength is isolation

I love The Walking Dead. Then again, I've always been a zombie buff since my youth.
Walking dead is one of my favorite shows and the only comic I've read in a long time. It's like an extended zombie-verse. At the end of a good zombie movie I always want more. This show gives it to me and makes me want even more!

I want glen to kill Shane. Or the old dude to kill him. Not Hershel, but the old guy with the hat. I have a feeling Shane and his bitch Andrea or whatever are going to go off on their own and bring some new group to the farm and take that shit over.
i like shane he makes the show interesting. fucking Andrea could die right now all she does is bitch. Old dude with the hat could get eaten too. He barely contribues to the group and he is boring as fuck.

One of my coworkers who is one of those "dude, you gotta read the comic books" kinda guys told me how Carl kills Shane a while ago in the comics. That would have been sweeeet. Lori is confusing as fuck for me because all I can think of is her as Sarah from Prison Break.

Rick is kinda annoying at times but it's pretty much one of the best shows, right next to "Breaking Bad".
