Pros: Driving around smoking listening to whatever you want. Tips. Free food if the place you work at is tight. Finding spots because you drive random-ass places (at least I did when I worked at a Mom&Pop place that had no delivery zone)

Cons: 'In this economy' no tips. 'In this economy' gas $$. Miles on your car. You might have to work and not make it to SC

It's a living if you work at the right place and have an efficient/reliable car.

I would rather buy candles at the 99c store, Knock on doors in the neighborhood and sell them for 5$. Come up with some "I put my self through university by selling these" pitch. MEGA PROFIT!!! If you work it , you are looking at between 30-50 dollars and hour.

cannot imagine putting miles on my car AND having it smell like food all the time. that job sounds a lot less lucrative these day anyway, i would look for other options.

My girlfriend is GM at a Hungry Howie's pizza place in Canton. The drivers get paid a decent wage plus tips. Some people still tip well even in these harsh economic times.

Althought they did get robbed the other day by some black guy with a gun, avoid the hood at night if you're a driver, you're a target if you have one of those toppers on your car.

Unless you dislike stability/being an adult, are a struggling artist, are a student, or under the age of 19 or 20, it's a bogus gig.

I put 70,000 miles on my car in 2 years doing it. I made awesome enough money to live on my own, pay for my car, and buy pretty much whatever I wanted, but I fucking hated every second I was at work. If you have no ambition it's a pretty cool gig I guess, otherwise, find something else.

Pros: Really Easy work, Almost no Physical Labor, Can Listen to music all day, You learn the best routes to take to get to places, you can make really really good money, most places any tips past the minimum wage mark are untaxed, can usually get free pizza, time flies by when your working, pizza places are usually super laid back when it comes to bosses.

Cons: Inconsistant tips, your base wage will be below minimun wage, cost of gas and milage on your car, delivering in the snow (if it snows much or at all where you live)

One of my favorite jobs I have had so far. Not the best as far as benefits or consistancy is concerned but definitely the most fun, and if the place you work slaps there own dough, doing that is awesome.

honestly, there are only cons to that job if you deliver to black neighborhoods.

being a pizza delivery guy was my favorite job ever: i worked for a small mom and pop pizza place, got free pizza every day and night, smoked weed all day long, listened to whatever music i wanted, got fat tips, and did i mention that i got free pizza every day and night.

I deliver for dominos and I love it

    Pro's
    drive around listening to music
    getting free beers/smoke from parties
I make between 15-20 usually closer to 20 bucks an hour
    Free food

    cons
    miles on car/maintenance
    gas price sucks
driving in the snow might suck in your area. i live in the hilliest part of my state so this winter could get hectic

    My city of 80,000 has 2 domino's
I work in the one that delivers to the ghetto, the downtown bar scene, hip young community, factories/production facilities and the housing neighborhoods that go with them, the pricey local hotels, and one of ritziest private colleges in my state

the other dominos delivers to the rich part of town, the 2 cheaper private colleges, the cookie cutter suburbs part of town and the cheaper hotels.

i'd much rather deliver in my zone

20$ an hour to fuck off is pretty rad

Depends where you work, I'm sure I've mentioned multiple times that I loved my job.

Cons: You'll get calls from Northside, You're not from Richmond so you have no clue how sketch Northside can be, and you'll get robbed.
