    Arlo wrote an article for DB ages ago, saying that he found it hard to appreciate miszous and unitys 'cos he couldn't relate them to skateboarding tricks. Most of the aesthetically pleasing grinds grabs etc. mimic existing skateboarding tricks.

    It's odd the conclusion you drew without stating the cause, skateboarders can't extend without pushing the board away and we don't appreciate aesthetics that aren't first expressed by them.

    i appreciate the intentions of the article, but have to say its a fail.

    ^^^ sums up most of "smart" Shock articles. (most, because, assuming the "quit your job and blade" article was satire, it was good. if it wasn't... ugh)
