Wodja has fucking worked hard to get where he's at. I have been friends and rolled with the dude for like 12 years now. He goes fucking in. He travels to anywhere to blade. He kills anything, one of my favorite dudes to kick it with hands down.

The interview didn't say that was the reason he wasn't pro. In the interview he says that he thinks a pro should dedicate his full time to skating, but because he is in college he can't do that, so he doesn't think he should be pro until he finishes school.

This. The fact that people like Mark, Jeph, and Franco are AM is important in setting the standards. Thats what AMs are supposed to be.. fucking incredible bladers with a solid resume of video sections and years of dedication to the sport. When they develop their own unique style and realllly stand out and sell skates just by wearing them and being seen in them, then it is time for pro status. Mark can outskate most pros and hes getting known for that super intense raw as fuck street skating.. he'll be pro when the time comes if he wants it.
