Spring is finally here and it's time to start working. I started removing and replacing all the stupid bulky stock items (tail light, rear signals, rack mount, mirrors, toolbox, etc.). I ordered a 4.50-18 Firestone Champion Deluxe rear tire yesterday. Eventually I want to bob the rear fender by chopping it. Currently in the process of finding new bars and grips. I'm also going to design a custom low profile brat style seat.

Edit: considering replacing those fucking wing-like front signals..

Finally got a picture of my bike. Only problems are the headlight doesn't come on and it is missing the left side panel.

Also pick up this jacket and a Scorpion Exo 500 helmet yesterday.

Beautiful bike in a classic colour! Would almost be a shame to bobber that, but whatever tickles your fancy, I suppose! LED turn signals make a world of difference, but get some classic style ones rather than the pointy "sporty" shit.

Well put 10,000 miles on my bonneville. It's been 9 months since new.

Changed a bunch of things on it since then. I installed clip ons last night and love the new position. Also ordered Pirelli Rossi IIs. That's gonna be pretty good.

Saving up to buy an outback this winter lulz. Rode through the winter last year as it was pretty pleasant but wanna drive to get dinner with my girlfriend without her shivering this year.

    wuckin it.

I really enjoyed this thread when it was around. Thanks for teh bumpz. I am going to try and get my license next summer. The class is free on base.

As for bikes that I like the look of, this blog blows my fucking mind wide open:

I don't envision ever having time to do this...it seems like it's hard to find someone to do even if you pay them. haha!

Well, I was forced in to it because my one of my carbs started spewing gas out while on a ride one night. My tank went from full to almost empty in 22 miles. With these type of things you just have to start and work on it when ever you can. It took me about two months from the leak to getting the bike running again Sunday. Though how it runs now was totally worth it.

    traded my 1999 suzuki gz250 (7000+ miles) for a 1987 acura legend (96,500 miles).

just bought this sexy piece of ass friday.
    1983 kawasaki kz1100 spectre d-2.
    18,500 miles.
    $650.
needs a new battery and carbs need to be cleaned.

don't know shit about motors/engines; just know how to ride them. can anybody give me a rough estimate of how much that'll cost?

Is that a Piaggo Typhoon? I had the 125 version of that, 2-stroke, which put out 15bhp stock. Always wanted to fit a Malossi 172 cylinder kit but the engine blew up before I could get around to it and I sold it for scrap.
