I only visited china for 2 weeks and in that time i saw more car accidents and pedestrians hit by cars than 24 years in america. chinese drivers just straight up do not give a fuck. and just imagine that those streets shown are practically deserted compared to the bigger cities during rush hour (basically all day).

Having been to china and witnessed this chaos in person, those idiots on the mopeds need to understand the rules of driving. They (as well as most motorcyclists in the states) ride like fucking idiots and don't pay attention to anything. They assume that you know where they are at all times and will always stop.

Oh, and in Shanghai the roads are confusing and change names every other week. So it's even more confusing.
