Cool VideoGroove 1-23 released digitally on Freestyleculture (+ Rootz)

All of the VideoGrooves are going to be up for sale on freestyleculture. A lot of people have been waiting a long time to be able to get ALL the VG's. I'm sure this isn't exactly what we all had in mind, but who cares!! VG 1-23

I love the idea, but $10 for each video means I won't be getting all 23 of them. I plan on getting 5, 10, 12, 15, and 18.

$230 for all of them? Too much $$$.

Watch videogroove backwards: pants get bigger, then smaller, then bigger again.

    wallet chains disappear

same with pants over skates, though it came back for a bit in 2005 when the whole boot cut jeans thing was on the rise

I'm hoping these will be encoded from the original renders. It would be the first time anyone's seen some of the vids in better-than-VHS quality!

I strongly advise everyone against purchasing any of the content they put up in its current form, at its current price. This is not a good thing. It's great that VG is out hurr again, but this is definitely not the way to do it. We must expect and demand better from the most influential videographer our sport has ever seen.

Dave, give us our boxed set.

I will buy and not bitch, this is cool as hell. Price a little steep on some of the older ones but for videos out of production that I've been craving $10 is a small price to pay considering up until now they were non-existent at any price.

There should at least be an offer where you can get all of them for like $150 or something.

dudes, i would want a box set of DVD's as well, but the production cost of doing that + booklets or whatever else, but when taken into account versus the state of the blade industry today (especially the blade DVD industry of today) it just doesn't make sense for DAP to do that. He would lose tons of money.

Just be happy that sooner or later you'll be able to pick up VG3 for $10 and then burn it to a DVD.

    i'm pumped.

bladers won't pay $20 for a DVD, why would they pay the entire cost of a pair of skates for some old videos?

You guys have been asking for this for years and when it finally happens all you do is bitch and moan. Releasing a box set with booklets and such is obviously not feasible when only a few people will want to get it out of nostalgia and even fewer among them will be willing to spend hundreds of dollars for it. Get real, kids. Rollerbladers always overestimate the demand for something they want/like. This is just like a few years ago when every week there would be a thread chastising Night Hardware for not cashing in on the huge demand for hitchhiker blocks for Fiziks, when there were only a few pairs of frames left and many of the people who owned them had multiple pairs.

However, I agree that $10 for a digital download of an old video is ridiculous. They should be $5 a piece or even less.
