Its probably just my opinion but i think xsjados have gone downhill. Dont get me wrong i skated them for a long period of time.

since i sold my last pair of xsjados and been waiting on new skates for about 3 days now i started having a big urge to go and skate. So Today i gathered a setup of parts (most of them were made by salomon) i had lying around .

Not the most attractive setup i know.

Well the first issue i had with xsjado is the shoe size maybe the conference though dont matter people with small feet so even size 6 shoes were made like they were size 7, and that really annoyed me. Here is my Stockwell v.1 shoes made by salomon uk 6 next to Wilson shoes made by the conference uk 6 also wilson wraps alot longer and wider which trust me when you have small feet is like putting your foot into h*es bucket vagina .

second issue i had is straps. old xsjado straps vs new xsjado straps both had same ammount of damaged actual salo ones probably been abused alot longer also length wise conference straps alot longer and its pain in the ass to get you skates tight without actualy taking the strap off and shortening it. Also all pro front thingies, i dont know what they called comes so padded i had to take a knife and get a bit of a padding out because its jsut uncomortable ( that might be just me)

and why do they advertise that small shell goes up to 8.5 uk well thats a lie it goes up too size 9.5 uk !!!

im glad that xsjado team goes out to spain and promotes rollerlbading its awesome but really conference for poorer less talanted people like me who cant afford to buy new parts often at all can you please sort out those issues because sometimes such a little difference can make such a big improvement. If salo got them right first time around its really is a shame to come out and just mess everything up like that

Just sayin. That site is a piece of shit and you will be harassed for liking it by a lot of people. Didn't mean to come off like a dick, I'm sorry.

On the issue of your skates. At this point, we should all thank our lucky stars that the conference came in and purchased the brand as it would be gone if not picked up. The conference doesn't have things at their disposal like Salomon did, so it's hard for them to match. But you should really make your comparison with the newer models. Compare the Farmer 2s to the farmer 4s. Those skates are a world of difference in quality. Xsjado got off to a very rocky start with the conference, but it has improved by leaps and bounds. I still think the ratchets are crap and the straps are cheap, but they work and don't hinder my skating. Try skating your Xsjados with what you have left of salomon parts then slowly reintegrate the conference parts. That's all I can tell you. Just remember that they were much worse off at first and I wouldn't have touched them.

I agree with you that they are a shadow(no pun) of their former selves, but still a Xsjado none the less. The plastic takes some getting used to and you will probably have to replace parts more often. SWS could possibly be releasing the souls that Night originally made, and that would really set the skate off again.

You can't compare the damien footwraps to any other footwrap. They have virtually no padding. They are about 1 size bigger than any other xsjado shoe completely due to lack of padding.

i know but even my farmer 3.s in six are way too big

i had stockwell v.1 , v.2, v3 farmer v.1 , v.3 , Wilson v.1s, basics 08's and skates that were made by salos were much better. i skated xsjado for over 3 years and now going on roces because i really liked how they feel, and having small feet size 5.5 uk really is pain on xsjado because they just feel so bulcky compare to size 5-6 skates. Dont get me wrong i glad that the conference picked up xsjado i jsut want them to maybe sort those little things out to make a great skate even greater.

you can still get salomon made wraps in tiny sizes pretty much everywhere so just do that, but I will agree with you that the salo wraps are superior

as far as the rest of it, they have come a long way since the first conference produced xsjados, I've been skating salomon produced xsjados for almost 5 yrs now and I'm allllmost ready to try some conference ones

I just got some conference xsjados recently. The last ones I had were salos and while there is a significant quality difference, in the end they are still xsjados and if you like them then it's hard to skate any other brand, so I'm glad conference picked up the brand and are improving their quality each model.

xsjado needs to release 2.0 to gain the confidence in their market, at this point a teaser photo is necessary to invoke any type of hype and fanfare

i like skating xsjados, unfortunately i can only skate them for 1.5 months, then they flop out on me, and i get nervous when skating floppy skates

hope something is around the corner
