yea otherwise i would inform you of the constant upheaval in the mideast, political mudslinging, and the recent out break of natural disasters.
of all those, the mideast is by far the most interesting. for the first time in my life i can see the rippling of contemporary geopolitics. Ariel Sharon believes it began in Iran with the protests of 2009, others would say tunisia. it's a contentious topic for sure. the digital element is also very intriguing. the utility of SNS. there was a thread that talked about "bloodless revolution"... historically violence was the great liberator, but in an already democratic society SNS can be a means of orchestrating a non-violent revolution (a-la martin luther king)
