Whoever owned these before barely used them. I added the white hockey laces & they fit perfect





I've got all kinds of K2 parts to play with this summer. Light gray soul frames that I can cut down to fit the instep strap, different instep straps, toe caps from 250ccs, Varsity soul plates...

I'd really like to see some black Carbon soul plates and black Fiziks on these.

I don't plan on doing anything drastic to them until autumn, so please abstain from lecturing me about skating these stock.

I can't farv/torque with the backslide plate and I am too damn old to try and hurt myself. I know what works for me and my skating, so there.

I wonder what they feel like with the current instep strap removed and one from the 250ccs in it's place with an external cuff?

Or with the internal cuff removed and just an external cuff on the outside?

Can I recommend you try to mod a different soul system on there? Like maynot not carbunz. Not because I'm against crabunz, but because you already sucessful modded a crabunz soul. Maybe try doing valo, or nimhs, or ... another k2 soul under a k2 soul, so you can soul while you soul.

you've inspired me. i'm about to trade some old julio classic thrones for the 08 backyards. i'm gonna do the mod work and put some VII souls on them though.

I gotta stick with what works for my skating. The Carbon soul plate is perfect for me and the price is right.

Out of your suggestions, the only one I'll try is the Varsity plates, but it'll mostly be for gits n' shiggles. They'll probably be a tad too small.

i had some of these that i JUST threw away that were missing a strap and backslide plate on one skate, that i would of sent to you for just shipping costs. i made a post about them but no one wanted them!
