Default Need some help taking my editing to the next level...

Well I know how to slo-mo, but I need help putting that film burn effect between most of my clips and with color correcting my footage so everything has that hazy gold and silver look to it. I know I can film into the sun when I'm shooting pigeons and dramatic shots of my friend's skates, but I want to get that effect for all my clips even when I can't film into the sun. I think I need one of those stedi-cam follow things too because I've really been wanting that effect that kinda blurs the edges with extra distortion whenever I move the camera and gives viewers a headache.

    Any help is appreciated

Does this setup come with film burn?

This looks way easier than just holding your camera.

    BRO

once you put a dubstep/popular rap song into the timeline, film burn occurs without any problems

I hope this is a joke.

So if you want to give your viewers a headache, I recommend going without the steadicam, and shooting everything handheld with a long lens. And if you really want the effect, run next to the skater instead of rolling alongside.

In terms of film burns, the more the merrier. If you can overlay 6 or 7 film burns at the same time it will look way cooler and more professional-looking. And more like film. To get the glowing effect you're just going to have to shoot into the sun every time you skate. So get used to skating only during sunset.

    Hope this is helpful.

And if this isn't a joke, i wish you the best.

get a polarized filter for your cam, pop the blues on that beach you live by, get a decent mic, go to editing and film msg boards....

first of all you need to start with a skrillex song
second of all HD is over rated.

vx1000 mk1 FTMFW all day long son.

get that scummy look going. then steal 5 minutes of footage from black and white horror films. just turn the opacity down the 85% and lay it over your entire edit.
