New soul according to the description? What's new? I don't see the difference. Maybe faster materials?

Nope. They're $350 with FRAMES AND WHEELS, while the Carbon 2's are $350 for just the boot.

Thats only $20 more then the original Xsjado Latimers were. Considering the the frames and the pro UC wheels $350 for that skate is a fucking steal.

not the ones in those pics... edit: the VII plates have an angle on the instep groove. this one is almost 90 degrees just like the carbon plate... personally i can not see a difference between this plate and the regular carbon one.

I really like the ideas behind this skate, I'm very intredasted in trying it...
It ill be a perfect out of the box setup if:
    1. those wheels hold up
    2. the antis are uhmw.

The direction The conference is heading is fantastic IMO. between this and the xsjado 2.0 release pic. I may leave my beloved carbon 2s just to try the 2 new skates..

I remember when 'boot only' options rarely existed. Really. . .that was pre-UFS. . .but still it was difficult. I think the Julio Psirus that were all black were the real first pro skate that was offered boot only. Anymore it's tough to find a true complete pro skate. So this really has me excited. I wish I was skating more to make the purchase worth it.

A plastic inner shell with a skin on the outside and a plastic cuff on top of that sounds pretty stupid to me.
