Default I just had the hardest nerdgasm

So I'm on facebook, and one of the ads on the right on the page was a a little picture like this And it said "Umbrella Corp is hiring." I laughed, because I thought the logo was oddly close to resident evil's umbrella corp. Then I wondered if that wasn't a coincidence, so I clicked it. (http://www.umbrellasciences.com/) It was a creepy looking site, just had this bad omen to it, and it was a health site, which was similar to Resident Evil's pharmaceutical company. Then the page "glitched" and an anti-umbrella site came up. So I watched all that stuff, and this is just by far the most amazing advertising I've ever seen. They haven't even mentioned the Resident Evil series, it makes it so real.

Wish they stuck to the formula that made the games so great though. The behind the shoulders perspective in RE4 and RE5 didn't do it for me.

The first games were actually scary, not just....action oriented. The locked camera made it claustrophobic as fuck. Less herbs and ammo, better puzzles and some of the best soundtracks of all time (RE2 especially)

And the new game just looks terrible

    bazodazo and Espen rules all

they did a similar thing for deus ex with sarif. I thought it was real for a bit then i realized what it was. http://sarifindustries.com/en/#/home/ the video that comes up at first wasn't there when they launched the site. neither was a lot of the stuff on the site actually.

Bummer, it really does look awful. They're trying to make an online hit I'm sure, get some of that COD and Gears of War money. It's stupid though how they're just spitting in fan's faces though. I was okay with RE4. There were still puzzles, and typewriters and whatnot that had the Resident evil feel. But 5 was no fun, it was all linear clusterfucks, nothing scary or cool. I'd like to see a resident evil that takes place in raccoon city that's also over the shoulder. But less ammo and scarier zombies, like the old versions.

They had it at PAX this year and its like a mix of Resident Evil and also Left 4 dead. But it looked amazing regardless. And there was guys wandering around in suits handing out Umbrella Corps. Business cards that had the above website on it.
All this has happened before, and all this will happen again!!
