Default A few questions about Valo frames

    1. Based on how well they slide, would they slide well in conjunction with Xsjado soul plates?

    2. Will a small size look too short on small shell Xsjados?

    3. I see a lot of people riding them flat. Are they good for anti-rocker?

    Thanks

i have tried them for both flat and anti. honestly, i think they are great for stock frames. the material is very hard so they slide fairly well. they require a bit of the break in time but once you have had them broken in, they will be set for you.
i dont think getting a size small would look too short on small shell xsjado, since when i had that set-up, they were too strange looking for me.
i would recommend valo frames for anyone who is looking for a good bargain.

So they weren't too short, just looked strange to you? What do you mean by "strange" exactly?

Yeah the size small is more like a medium. I couldn't skate them because they were so long on a 7 boot.

They look perfect on a small Xsjado. Larges look rediculous. Valo frames are horrid for flat, they are horrid overall. Good stock frame for anti. Compared to Razors/Remz at least. One of the slowest frames I've skated. Seriously slows you down. Can be a good thing on rails but skating miniramp is bs. They are only good when you need cheap frames for gritty ledges. They slide nice on granite etc.

I have stocked up on 12 pairs atm. They are shit, but for the price they are good. Does that make sense? Well, deal with it...

Get Creates or the new GC XS when you want to have fun skating and aren't short on money.

Funny that you hate them so much, when you're trying to sell your modified valo frames

I never had problem with them sliding slow. Just break them in a little bit and they're good. They probably aren't as fast as GCs or something but skate faster.

The groove is awesome because it's essentially a make your own groove. Grind them on a sharp curb for a minute then you're good to go.

I like the shape of them too, Topside feel awesome.

Yeah dude, that's right on. These frames are solid and skate a lot like 50/50 frames. Break them in and you're good to go
