    Mechanical Engineer designing cranes for a small company out of Cleveland. Got the job today; start Monday.

    Congrats. Nobody earns their undergrad degrees more than engineering students. My brother is an engineer and we went to the same college and he worked twice as hard as I did, even though my major (biochemistry) wasn't a walk in the park either.

    uhh. i avoided biochem like it was the plague!!! stuck with environmental/inorganic chemistry

    $20 and hour for the first 90 days, then most likely a dramatic bump after that. It's a little low, but I'll take it.

    also $20/hour starting off is sweet! i started off salary and most def was stuck working 6:00 am-10:00 pm alot of nights.

    $20/hr is low for an engineer dudes

    that amounts to ~$38400 a year

    20 an hour isn't bad at all. My first job out of college was @ 12. I was a contractor though and my peers who actually worked for IBM were making like 25.

    Congrats. Have fun specing out nuts and bolts and other bitch engineer work. My Dad is an EE and says he used about %10 of what he learned in school during his career. He has worked on damn near every system with GE, Monsanto, Miller, Budweiser, ect.
