did you put some holes through the liner for the laces?
very nice ideas...
UPDATE on the Carbo-Remz.
I took my carbon 3s and the Carbo-Remz to a skate park.
30mins with the Carbo-Remz were magic..
fit was nice, feet didn't hurt, a couple of pressure points from the liner cuff configuration but very comfortable over all.
that remz strap from cuff bolt to cuff bolt is fucking amazing! no heal lift, and i feel like i have a ton more power in my strides.
decided i'd ride the carbon 3s for a comparison.
put them on my feet, stood up and thought ewwwww.....
the fit didn't feel nearly as good as I remembered... much looser.
skated maybe 10 mins and switched back to the Carbo-Remz.
Almost straight away I noticed that there was quite a lot of flex at the front of skate.
I'm not 100% sure why...
I just can't tell if it's the carbon and soulplate flexing together, the frame flexing over, or my foot being able to turn inside the skate that allows for the flex...
Not sure if its good or not either...
I was a little worried about it so stopped skating them.
Thoughts???
I'm ordering a new set of souls for the Carbo-Remz and ****perhaps a couple of different liners.
thought i would try the trust and the phoenix... any objections?****
ive gotten used to the low ass v-cut the carbons have and need that... but really liked the high walls the rollerblade cuff have so perhaps i need to make something....
I know i need to try a different liner and cuff combo so maybe that will help.
I'll skate them again this Sunday but ill be making some minor adjustments.
ill add some laces to the rollerblade liner and also bolt it down using the UFS mounts.
I also have a Jug liner from some OS remz that i will bolt to the Carbo-Remz and try...
edit: **** going to mod the rollerblade liners..
attach the Carbon tongue and add laces... lol
