watched the whole thing, good video. You don't like the stock heel pads? I have some six won six gel ones i might put in mine instead. that'll probably work better. i need to get better insoles for mine as well. and maybe put loctite in the cuff bolts to keep the cuff from loosening and me having to tighten them all the time which is probably the source of the rotating receivers. of course, i might loctite them in when the cuff bolts aren't 100% tight so the cuffs have room to move without puling on the bolts or receiver.

    Nice baby doll t-shirt. Dick.

Totally kidding. Good shit. I didn't think it would be that "easy" to have my own custom skate.

Bravo to you for cutting apart some skates. I would never be able to do that haha

In this tutorial, my girlfriend was freaking a little, because those were her Carbons you were cutting up and stripping apart. lol She loved those, but she is glad they went to a good use.

Hahah! I was actually going to keep the skins on and just strip the liners and add cuffs and liners but the toe was completely melted!
When I took the skins off the first skate even the Carbon was Kind of shredded in the toe area!

    firstly: LOL!

secondylylyl: Been waiting for you to respond! Figured you would be all over this!

thurdly: If I can get my hands on another pair of Carbons I'll be doing a tut on just how to replace the liners and replace worn out leather which I think most people will find to be very valuable.

4thluy: I've been thinking about doing an individual tut for skins that may brand into how to make them for Valo, TRS and Nimh as well. But what I said is true. Every shoe is completely different. So every skin is made completely different.

You think the heat gun would be effective in resolving an issue where, this is the only good way i can think of describing it, if you look at the distal end of the metatarsal (4th bone from toe) of the pinky toe (the part closest to the toes) in this x-ray, you'll notice the foot kind of sticks out there. It feels like there's a seam or something on the inside of my skates that hurts there after a while, it might be the shell, might be a seam, i'll have to look when i go home. but assuming it is the shell, a heat gun without removal of the skin might do something?

That's rough dude. You could try heat gunning it from the out side or just heat moulding the whole boot.
But yes there is a seam right in the middle of the boot in about that area there but even so it shouldn't be noticeable.
