I waited a week and then smoked hookah, and got dry sockets. They fucking suck. Worst pain i've ever felt in my life. Don't smoke anything or you will thoroughly regret it in a week.

I was in the same situation when i was like 16. I took shotguns from blunts through the nose and when I got tired of that I put cotton or a tissue over the holes and took small rips and was straight, but I have heard how bad the dry sockets are. I would say be careful but fuck it use the cotton. If it makes you feel any better if your not smoking I am a weedhead haven't gone more then a week without herb in 7 years, just got on probation haven't smoked since January 9th.

Just take the god damn perocet they give you and chill the fuck out. You do not want a dry socket, I got one and was in pain for another month. Required even more percocet and I had to constantly rinse out the hole.

everyone is different. some people are feeling like shit for 5 days after they get them out, others are straight the next day. i was fine the next day and they didnt even give me percs for pain, just tylenol with codeine, complete bs. they didnt do that much but i wasnt even in that bad of pain at all. i smoked a few blunts the day after i got mine out, and i was completely fine. no dry sockets or any of that. that doesnt necessarily mean you should burn some L's though, so do whatever you think is right

    I did it years ago.
Smoked the same day and the rest.
I had no problems with it.
But, now that I haven't smoked in about 5 years, I would admit that it's a dumb idea.

    You are a fucking RETARD.

They don't want you smoking because

    A. When you are taking a drag off of something you are causing a vacuum in your mouth which could fuck with your stitches.

    B. Because the shit in the smoke could deposit into your freshly opened cavities and cause dry socket which can kill you if not properly taken care of.
dry socket is actually the result of A. it happens when the initial blood clot that forms essentially gets removed, which can happen easily by vacuum. then you could get an infection since the inside of your gums are exposed as well as the jawbone i think.

I smoked a blunt four hours after i got my wisdom teeth out. I used mouth wash constantly after smoking cigs or a blunt. I did not get dry sockets but obviously its going to be different for everyone. All depends on how resilient your body is.
