Good for him.
Good for him.
ufo/royal cess slide is the only way to stop, if your cool enough that is
honestly, i haven't stopped like that over a decade ago
indeed, or do the soul cess slide stop thing![]()
Also- Fuck this guy
But honestly, I've been doing the T-stop forever and it's really wearing on my wheels now that I only skate street. What do you guys do? Also, how do you guys pump when going fakie to keep your speed/speed up?
also, wouldn't that be a perpendicular stop?
i stop by turning sideways, leaning away from the direction i'm going, and turning my skates sideways while i pick my feet up and reposition them in front of me perpendicular to the way i'm going. i don't just turn and stop because there's too much momentum, which is why i reposition my feet a few times. hope that makes sense

I angle my foot most of the time, so the wheels keep spinning as I stop.
a few ways to stop
-mostly i just turn; to continue doing lines.
-short slalom - use one foot as a pivot and put all pressure on your front foot, alternating feet
-cess slides work
-fences and benches work wonders
-putting your hands on your knees to stop your feet from moving
seriously..why am i still going? i can't remember that last time a sharp turn failed to get me out of harms way
Word. I guess I'm looking for all the suggestions I can get because I'm looking to do a lot of video shooting while skating. It's a bit tricky because Pittsburgh is so hilly and all these busy intersections around are a recipe for disaster. Once this snow melts I'll experiment around some.
I never t-brake for fear of wheel wear. If I can't stop in time I just hit things.
to stop i just throw myself to the ground or against a wall and stop
fastest way to stop?.......hit something.
