VII souls on Carbon 3's

I have a size 42 (US9) UK8.

what size on the VII souls should i get whitout getting that overhang.

Hope some of you could help.

Most people would probably say medium. Personally I would take the extra time and effort to fit size small souls on.
Either way you need to shave a little bit of plastic around the heel area.




The souls are a little longer than Carbons so the small should be a perfect length for a US9 boot.

i was thinking of that, thats why i would hope that someone would show me a pic whit a US9 skate, so i can see how it would look like.

I'd say small ones. I have a US 9 C 2 and M (41-42 EU) and they fit good with a little modding. Look at my posts in the Setup Post. Must have been the last setup I posted.

I would suggest medium, the smalls need to be trimmed to fit on an 8 so you're cutting it even closer to get them on a 9, but you're probably stuck with them either being a little small with the smalls or a little large with the mediums so it depends what you prefer.

Got my 7 souls today, size small.
hade to shavit inside as you said, and it's looks amazing.
mayby a littel short in the rear.

they are shorter then carbons souls 42/43 and about the same soul space.
gona skate them soon.

yeah thats the worst thing aboyr these skates, lack of boot protection.
lets hope USD make som better souls for carbons whit more protection and better royal grooves, like the 7's

i wish the front of the carbon boot was like the front of remz or something. i was always wondereed if you could chop up some remz and get that plastic front piece in place of the leather on the carbons or something.

or if that doesn't work, how about taking the plastic shell of another skate and putting it around the wear areas of the carbon. forget the added weight, everyone says light skates are dumb anyway.
