Overall, they look far too similar to the Carbons, and USD has the money to invest in testing that these guys probably don't have access to. I would wait for them to make a few models before thinking about getting them, and at $800 a pop (if that's true) I don't think they'll be around for too long. I did have a pair of the Remedy skates that (I think at least) were handmade, and loved the shit out of them. Great concept, but without the backing of a major brand, I don't see them being above and beyond what is already available.
I will bet you $100 they won't be around for a few models.

Can't tell how well they're holding up but it at least looks like the dye wears off the leather pretty easily.

Barcelona is really dusty in places - that cold easily be dirt.

Benny has always had a slightly weird/sticky nature to his skating. You either like it, or you don't. But I think its far too early to be calling the souls slow, or discussing the longevity of these skates.

The skates look cool and once worn in, those souls look ok and like they would last forever.

I like them alot! Shame im not the biggest fan of carbon for aggressive skates, they looks sick and i bet them super comfortable!

Looking forward to the first feedback from people who try them!....

that soulplate looks like it offers zero boot protection, after a few cess slides you would just be hitting that skin

whats gona happen to the skin when u slide on the "cuff"? Non replaceable "buckle"? didnt USD establish a royale groove made of UHMW a terrible idea, years ago?

imo they look like carbon nimhs
    do not want

although i would like to see them "tested" by a more well rounded group of skaters
richie eisler would be the ultimate "slow soul" debunker

    edit needs more mach 10

    that was painful to watch.
i think the idea of a new company is amazing, but jesus christ they looked so sticky on every trick

This guy did nothing but soul tricks. The skate looks alright, I guess. I'm not into the whole skin boot craze. I'm glad RB jumped off that wagon. I guess it is easier to make a plain, ugly boot and wrap it up than it is to make a good looking shell.

Haven't the first Carbons looked like Remz?

I loved the Dirk/Swindler shell. So, obviously I'm going to like the Solo shell. I never went through the wigger phase that so many did and so I don't dig the whole Nike skin.

skates look interesting, would like to try them as long as that pricetag isnt true.

and also this is probably THE WORST first edit of a skating brand. first off benny as pro? he skating was half decent at best. he skated so slow up to everything, barely slid all of his tricks, made the souls look super sticky and really made them look unappealing. if i was with adapt id have a variety of skaters in the edit, going mach 10 and trying to make the skates as badass looking as possible, marketing fail at its finest

It's the worst song on the new Astronautalis album, but that album is so good. Along with the previous two albums.

soles are like more square carbon plates, backslide looks really shallow too. they don't cover the toes either. and that hole in the back of the skate, is that yellow fibers on the shell? kevlar?

    I believe it's a carbon kevlar.

Kevlar toe would solve a lot of problems...
