yeah those souls look like theyd leave the boot unprotected so after a few good scraps across rough payment on the toe and the side of the boot would leave these pretty haggard

havent lol'd like that in a while at 2:37
I agree, heal strap is a must. One of the reasons I hated 5 Elements when I had them. If companies don't want to drill holes in their shitty shells, then just provide an option for the strap, like the Dirk shell had.
The strap does nothing on my Carbon 2's. I just leave it on there to not have these loops dangling around. Proper laces is key.
i had a long talk and had the chance to see the inner structure.
And i'm pretty impressed.
But i would not invest any money in them before i had the chance to ride them for a day or so.
Pricing was around 340 boot only and 390 with a CO flat setup. (i might got that one wrong)
nothing wrong with the soulplate (except its a bit too big for my personal taste)......form follows function.
their promo makes us look pitiful.
350 euro boot only. . . 460 USD. . . ummm, not sure if want anymore. . .
sig. . . what sig? you should know what skating looks like by now, right?
When i saw this first i thought benny got a nimh/ssm pro modell.
The truely look nice but how long? One or two wrong moves or slams on rough ground and the not replaceble skin will be destroyed. Thats the problem all carbon skates have for the moment beside valo lights. I really like the slim look of these and even of the usd carbons but i donīt like the ireplacable skin and liners.
Hereīs my hint for all the skate companies and those who want to come up with one.
Take the truely great salomon st shell, make it out of carbon, put a replacable skin over and a slim neopren liner in it, mount a external cuff and let them rock.
Asking for Salomons made of carbon is the same shit as supporting Valo in making their carbon shells backwards compatible. You guys are crazy. Got dem new technololgy available to you. Either use it to its potential or go used skates shopping on eBay.
