dyeing laces

I have brand new white deshi laces. Can I use food coloring to dye them blue . I no I can buy blue laces but if I die thes the deshi in black will still be Ther and look cool.

i guess food coloring might work. but you could also just go get some RIT dye and use that. it's meant for fabrics.
