I don't know if sending him material things is a hot idea. It's more shit to push around and worry about storing. He needs a place to crash for a bit to get back on his feet and a job. I'm shocked to hear that no one out there is taking care of him. Hope he's not too ashamed to look for help from friends/family. Maybe send this story to other store owners and people in the industry with more pull.
