Yeah. They're pretty terrible. But everyone else swears by them. I groove my skates real hard when it's nice out.

I like it right before the knuckles on my toe. Keeps my toes and foot locked in. Luckily I'm a size 8.5 so the medium shell fits my foot amazingly well. It's like the perfect length.
