    Default Athene's Theory of Everything

Thought this was a cool video for anyone out there who is interested in Physics, Philosophy, or Consciousness

I'll see your TOE theory and raise you Dr Thomas Campbell - My Big TOE

18 part series. It's really thick info, and if you don't have a network of other knowledge you might get lost in the first video.

    Theories are fun!

athene isn't saying anything no one has said before as far as the psychology stuff goes. As far as his physics stuff his axioms are..odd..If i remember correctly he postulates c=hf....lol..which is cool, i suppose, only because you can kinda make any initial assumptions in theoretical physics (no matter how weird they may be). The problem is he didn't really rigorously describe the implications of c=hf and see if any of it matches any observations...Its just a publicity thing, and he won, cause you watched it...

GUT's are stupid- that is not the point of physics..that's all pop sci stuff designed to make physicists money because its a lot harder for them to get money now, especially since nuclear physics is basically over...Even if the standard model is right, its still "wrong" and not finished. IF they succeed with the LHC there are still a bunch of questions, the biggest being: If the higgs gives particles their mass, what gives higgs their mass?

Does math describe reality? Or does it just come close? That is the most fundamental question of all of this, because if the answer is no then there can NEVER be a GUT/TOE...Most physicists say no, a few math guys say yes.

well since we're on the video roll

Here's a more fun theory video that ties in a whole bunch of stuff. It's well explained, graphics and animations to keep the viewer interested as well

This one is about admiralty law/common law/legal fictions stuff.

Lots of interesting concepts in both videos and they're both wonderfully narrated and animated.
