I understand that there is no media, but I wish the reviews of products were actual reviews, and just descriptions provided by the companies that made the product. Someone skate the product, and tell me if it was good or not.

Daily Bread never made it to my local newsagent when I was young so I only ever ended up with a few issues. Did get DNA though and still have every copy sitting in storage. Loved that mag. Though One doesn't live up to them, I still like to have a hard copy magazine to flick through every now and then and it seems to be the easiest to get hold of most the time.

Here's the problem- if skate company xyz drops dough every month to buy an ad in the mag, it takes balls to write a review saying that one of their products isn't good.

Btw: what was the Be-Mag equivalent to Disinformation? That stuff was good when Hollywood wrote it.

so this little like maybe 12 year old black kid was yelling out to franky, "franky your my favorite rollerblader! i asked for your skates for christmas!"

JE then said "yea franky! me too! hehehehe!" then this dude ezra from san jose punched him in the face. he came up to us shaking and was like "holy crap i just punched someone in the face." (ezra is a very calm, respectful, religious kinda guy who would never punch someone in the face.) but he did, and it was awesome.

a lot of people saw it. kinda weird no one had heard about it.

Funny, i remember ezra telling me and my homie that story, and we all started laughing. We could never picture him socking someone up, ezra is hands down the most non violent dude i have ever met.

shame he doesnt skate anymore. good dude

didn't punk rock dudes put out little black and white printed pamphlets? I swear when I was in middle school all my little punk friends would have tons of them from shows they would go to. Let's start some shit like that!!!
