I still can't believe it. Such a nice guy and the best rollerblader in Russia with unique raw style. From what I know he died last night

Died in his sleep.
what was the cause? heart condition or something?
Amazing rollerblader, His name gets good breath over here. Russia (blading in general) lost a good dude.
RIP, and I wish the best to his family.
Rest in peace, that's terrible![]()
super disappointed to hear about this
shred in peace Andrey.
Damn, RIP.
Dude was so good.

I'm not ready to believe this yet. Can we get a few other Russian skaters to confirm this? If it's true I'll be a little bit devastated. I saw his Freeway section from 2006 and was kind of blown away by it. I'd seen his earlier stuff as well, and it was great, but definitely felt a little bit dated. The Freeway section is timeless, a classic even.
This guy is/was l one of the best skaters of his generation, anywhere. Honestly, we haven't seen enough footage of him. You just know when someone is great because they look a little more solid on everything they do; a little more comfortable than the rest of us ever will. Note the topsoul at 17:50 in the section below. Too good and too unknown. I'd love to get a dvd compilation of this guy's clips, dead or alive.
16:51 for those who haven't seen it yet.
Nooooooooo.....
This is just depressing. It's like Andy Irons dying or something. I really do believe that Zaytsev was a major, if relatively unknown, talent on the scene. Hope some of his friends put together a DL-like compilation of all his stuff. I'd definitely buy it.
