All jokes aside, I bought these skates last summer, I skate about once a week, and now it looks like I'm gonna end up throwing them out because of one stripped frame receptor.. hardly seems worth it to buy new skates when the same thing could easily happen again.. if I actually bought shit for retail price I wouldve just bought myself a skateboard a long time ago.

Or you mean the people telling me to frankenstein the fuck out of my skates and cut the foot bed open, drill the rivet out, and superglue a new t-nut in, hoping the super glue is strong enough to hold it in place. Well I dont own a drill and that sounds like a huge pain in the ass that may or may not work at all.

if you can get your hands on a drill, it really doesn't sound that hard at all. other skates did the same thing, the only difference is you have to cut a little slit through about 1/16th of an inch of material first, that is under your insole anyway. tightening your frame bolt and maybe throwing some lock tite on there will hold the receptor in place too. older blades receptors were just sitting there

I had to do it before. simply cut the bottom with an x-acto knife and super glue in another receptor. take the laces out when doing it, so your hand can fit in the boot better.

I wouldn't drill out the hole though...unless the threads are too far gone. Just run a tap through it and that should fix it.

take your old plastic skates... cut out the rear part where the rear frame receptor was, put it in carbons, put a receptor over the plastic.... eazy as hell... but cut it as big as your whole rear skate, so the plastic wont be spining inside....
or drill it out, replace the receptor and epoxy it....
