Anyone seen this? It got some good reviews and has been recommended to me. Is it worth checking out?

Yes, its true romance without the Tarintino dialogue.....plus lots of scarface era synth.....

Throw in a healthy heaping of violence and I'm happy I bought it.

It's cool. It's kind of a modern film noir. Would watch again.

I loved it, my wife loved it. Now i"m on a Ryan Gosling kick. Just watched Lars and the Real Girl the other day, and was pretty impressed. Now onto All Good Things, Crazy Stupid Love, and Half Nelson.

    oh, this movie.
i saw it a while ago and while it is good it was my first time seeing ryan gosling in anything. he seems spaced out all the time. is he supposed to have that dramatic look? cause he comes across as spacey and akward.
like he doesnt know how to act and just stands there staring.

Drive is just an oddly paced movie with not much dialogue.

He was really weird in Lars and the Real Girl, but his character had emotional and mental issues, so it totally made sense that he was spaced out all the time. To me, he came across as bemused and pleasantly oblivious.

Crazy Stupid Love actually struck me as a genuinely excellent film despite the cheesy title. Went in expecting chick flick, left wanting to go the gym and buy smarter clothes.
