best fit i ever had for my foot were my og salo's, now i run xsjados and love it because finding a shoe that fits my feet, and in them is a hell of a light easier than figuring out how small of a plastic shell i can use with what liner. Especially since i don't have the option of walking into a shop and just trying shit on. if you hate heel lift i say xsjado.
i'm almost 32 and i'm skating harder than when i was a scared little teen...

tru, but they are as ugly as fuck, the sole drag will kill you, and they slide like shit.

put two more eyelets just below the cuff and use a separate lace for the new eyelets

here is a shitty phone pic for example:
This works great. I used to lace my Genesys like this.
What's the brand on this eyelet machine? The ones I've gotten in the past do not work at all. The eyelets pull out at first tug.

Ya Xsjados dont work for me, cuffs offer no real support and the soulplates hurt my feet on topsides.
8-9 shell Thrones and 10 remz liners are working pretty good so far with the eyelet mod. I did mine lower on the boot though.

I burned a hole through with a hot screwdriver then used, in this case, a 4mm eyelet hand pinch like this one. The plastic is a bit thick for the 4mm eyelets. If you squeeze the tool hard enough then use a hammer and blunt piece of metal on the inside of the boot you can imbed the eyelets into the plastic. The 6mm ones work a lot better for me.
