Default UK magazine DNA - Issue 1. November 1997

I scanned some pages from defunct UK magazine DNA. It was an awesome magazine and I hope the creators do not mind me posting some scans from the first issue. I didn't scan it all (took ages) but I can take some photos on my DSLR and put them on Flickr if anyone wants me to. I have most copies of UNITY and DNA so if there are any specific requests, I can do that.

Your going to release more rollerblading content than ONE magazine....

I dont know which magazine i miss more.

Will always remember discovering Unity in my local newspaper and being absolutely amazed. Then picked up DNA at club blue room after a skate at the old meanwhile gardens.

I'll enjoy anything you upload, since all my old issues are up in my sisters loft.

Also, i think that rail in the top pic is now gone it was near london bridge i think.

I wonder whatever happened to "Freestyle Walking" and "The Paranoid MC5, with Grinding on Boot System, available at all SERIOUS skate shops"...

I found the forst issue of Unity Magazine when looking for this. It says "volume 2, issue 1" but I think thats a reference to the fact that it used to be a pull-out from Skatermag.

It has a dude doing a rocket fishy on the cover, in Scotland. I'll scan it at some point soon. I'd love to scan all of the DNA magazines too, but its a lengthy job.

Maybe you could set up a Paypal account and get donations from all the generous rollerbladers in the world

I emailed the magazines editor/photographer/top dog and he said it was cool to scan the magazines and post them up, so I guess thats the go-ahead to do more of this.

Really? I thought you had been around for longer than that. That issue was probably 1998/99 right? I'll get around to scanning/photographing more soon. Unity issue 1 is pretty special (and by special, I mean ropey as fuck)

+rep, Dan do you know how to make PDFs? If so PDFs would be appreciated of any issues you scan in.
