My fat fuck step brother got a scooter when he was like 7 (I was 16) and I tried it, just rolling down the street. I did a lame little bunny hop and flowed into a 360 spin (just spin on the back wheel without it leaving the ground) and as soon as I tried to roll straight that damn tiny ass front wheel turned sideways, with the handlebar hitting my hip and I nearly endo 'd into the pavement. Scooter turn radius be dangerous.

You need to wear a helmet when riding one of those at parks here.
Rollerbladers, skateboarders and BMX riders do not need a helmet because unlike a scooter, their mode of transport is not classed as a 'children's toy'.

I always though the kids that wore a helmet to go up and down a bank were just really wierd.
