*UPDATE: I've finally got my trip all planned out (thanks to those of you I've already spoken with) - and I am still looking for some people to skate with - or at least get some good tips on skateparks, street spots, or interesting places along my way. Here's when and where I'll be...please tell me some cool stuff - thanks in advance!
June 23-27: Barcelona
June 28-30: Carcassone
July 1: Cassis
July 2: Turin
July 3-8: Switzerland/Interlaken
July 9-10: Lichtenstein
July 11-13: Munich
July 14-18: Traveling across Germany into Belgium (Frankfurt/Luxembourg/Gent/etc)
July 19-25: Amsterdam and surrounding areas
July 26-31: Copenhagen

Switzerland: There's a rollerblader-run indoor skatepark in Aarau near Zurich. Haven't been yet as I just moved here, but apparently it's good. Starscream on here works there, he'll be able to tell you more. Zurich has some ok parks and some sick spots too.
You sound cool as shit, and I'm sorry to hear about the divorce. I did a similar trip for 3.5 weeks from Madrid to Bergen, Norway. You're going to love it. Give StarScream a high 5 for me
Also Michel Loneberger was a great dude in Munich. We skated street and he took me to some touristy Hoefbrau (sp?) brewhouse to look at pretzel girl boobs and drink German beer and eat brats.
A trip notebook/diary is something to consider. Good place to keep directions and phone numbers together as well.

sounds like you need to hit up ibiza for some relaxation.
Even if it's a cool place to stay, I suggest you to go to Marseille and skate its famous bowl.
It is not that far, it depends on your means of transport.

YES YES - definitely going to make a train stop to skate that bowl! Thanks for saying it though. Realizing that I'm just barely missing a lot of blading events in Europe. But bowl contest just happened there. And Roskill (sp?) is happening like 1.5 weeks before I get up there! Argh...oh well.
ya - ibiza is not quite my scene...although if i am looking for some craziness, i am sure it would fill that void!

And I gotta say that Zurich does seem like a good place to cruise through. Let me look and that and get back to some of you who have offered to meet up, let me crash, etc!
interlaken is a bit of a backcountry spot where you will not get happy imho (skate-wise) but you sure enjoy the view there.

yeah i see there is a small park there, and I know it's pretty damn touristy...but I cannot wait to chill there and do some hiking and fresh air breathing!! maybe meet a group of cute german college girls on vacation?
I'm at work right now and pretty busy, but I want to follow up with you about Zurich!
I've only got one more week to go until I get to start this trip! Changed my plans a bit and decided to visit Berlin from approx. July 11 - 15, and be in Copenhagen from July 26 - 31. Anyone here live in these areas and can give me some local tips or meet up to skate?
