    You have to get it out of your head that corporate companies sponsor events to support a certain sport and help them grow.

    They sponsor events to get their own brand name out there to make profit; sponsoring a rollerblading event will get next to nothing in comparison to a starcraft event as there are a ton more starcraft players then there are rollerbladers.

    Starcraft is mad popular in Asia dood. American players go over there and play in crazy ass tournaments for huge prizes. They're rolling in like 80-100k a year if they're a pro player with a sponsor.
