It's the reason people call it a sport and take it so seriously.

"You are a menace. A walking pestilence."

If im in the skatepark, i do a lap around the park.
HELLAHELLA
see more art/music heads in rollerblading than jocks. wouldn't mind being able to hang out with other non artsy rollers just to switch it up a bit though i try not to judge others unless they are total a-holes. maybe you should try it some time
Being a skinny-ass motherfucker who trashes his body isn't necessarily better than being a jock, bro.
Blake o'brien is a jockblader

worst thread
"I reflected that man is the veriest slave of custom, and that many points in the routine of his existence are deemed essentially important, which are only so at all by his having rendered them habitual"
what are these "jocks" you speak of? they don't rollerblade, they join fraternities, get beer guts and work at dad's business and relive the glory days watching football.
did mike budnik release a new section or something?
I've seen more artsy-fartsy kids rolling than "jocks". I don't give a shit either way, and I'm surprised you give a shit.
so i was youtubing emo vs jock fight on youtube and i found this thread i think there r more emos that do inlining cuz alot they where tite pantz but i dont care about lables every1 is rly the same am i rite

I played college basketball and joined a fraternity, both great decisions; but without rollerblading I would have far fewer artistic friends and my life would have a very different direction.
Maybe the real question is :
Why is OP unathletic?
Blading IS a sport. It's more along the lines of a martial art, like JKD...basically no rules and doing what works for you while drawing from a standardized foundation.
Nostalgia thread?
Back in 1996 when I first started skating all of the jocks who were older than me picked it up in very short term stints.
