I heard about replacable liners and skin but just rumors. On the board is a pic of jeremy sonderberg skating kind of a prototype
Next step, red soulplates, wheels and white instep strap

thought i read before that they were showing off a prototype at bittercold and no one really seemed impressed. either way looking forward to seeing what improvements they can come up with after II and III didnt really change all that much. also looking forward to kelso cfrees if the rumours are true

I got to see the carb4 at bittercold and nothing really interesting for. They had replaceable liners, can't remeber the skin pattern for shit other than everybody in the room said they looked a hell like k2s. Apparently all the usd riders hated them so I guess they will make a couple adjustements here.

Whoever said carb frees fit small, I have a size 10 foot and I wear a size 9 carb free because they fit better. They are actually true to size, maybe a little bigger.

I know a lot of people skating the carbon 2's and 3's and none of them are complaining about the liner,
so why come up with a removable liner?

i like how the skate is, just mess around with colours and skins, but keep the skate the same, atleast for a year or 2.
maybe change the soulplate, its very small on the heel area.

eversthing around the cuff... the adapt is a really good skate and of couse i think its the best fiting skate i ever had and i had every mold of blades on the fucking market in the last 12-13years but adapt still the best, just high qual. lether and foarm.
but FOR ME the cuff is to stiff, i dont like carbon cuffs. thats why i chance back to USD carbon. if adapt make a softer cuff i think i go back to adapt.

^ Adapts have no carbon around the cuff. Do your homework.

If USD asked me how to make their Carbons better I'd say new soulplates (shape/material) and a removable ratchet strap to lock the heel into place. And yeah, maybe a little more padding on the inside (left and right), and no carbon around the toes. But then again they probably won't ask me so why do I even write here...

first thing they needs to do (but this goes for most companies from my experience) is make better insoles. only had one session on my C2's so far, but had to change to a Jug insole straight away. cant stand the USD ones.

this is assuming they didnt make a better one for the C3's, haven't even seen a pair of them to find out.

    DING!

In my opinion, they could market a whole new Carbon skate generation solely on insoles. Call it the Carbon SoleŽ.

    Again, noone will ask us...

lol definitely agree about the insoles. my kelsos lasted maybe 2-3 rides before the print on the top was peeling off. judging by psyfrons review of the bambrick 3s the insoles are a little bit better but id still go out and get some other ones.

if anything id like to see the toe cap get some improvement and get some nice looking pro boots out there. im very happy with the 2s so wont be too fussy over what they do with the 4s

i've been saying this all along as well. other things i'd change: no spring loaded buckles; they close when you're trying to tie laces. insoles i guess. interior padding change wouldn't be horrible. it'd b easier for them to change the carbon free mold too i'm thinking.

Replacable liner isn t a rumor. Cuff is different. Lace area look like some k2.plastic protection on the side (pretty much like the imperial)
