could one of the UFS mounting bolts for the frame be a little too long and poking into your heel?

On mine (not using them anymore, switched to Genesys 9) I can 'just' feel the UFS bolt through liner and insole. Could use a small trim, though I didn't feel it when skating.
The V2's have no shock absorber or the likes. Maybe try a Roces insole with a gel pad in the heel; helped a lot on mine.
The Roces are also nicely supportive to the mid section of the foot. Other insoles may work the same, dunno..

Additionally, I found them slightly loose on the foot (size 43 to a 42½ foot), which made me overtighten the laces.
I then noticed the additional lacing hole hidden under the skin, and relaced to use this, which made them sit much better, as I could now tighten the part that locks to the wrist without overtightening the forefoot as before, thus resulting in better blood flow.
Dunno if this could be part of your problem. Reduced blood flow can work in mysterious ways, only showing it's effect after some skating time.

I also replaced the stock laces with some flat waxed ones, as the stock ones tended to shift, causing the parts I had locked to go loose and other places to tighten. The waxed ones stays much better in position.

Put a thin Shock absorber between the Liner and Soulplate. I have one from a USD Psirus in my SSM Morenos. It has a little forward feeling, but after one Session you didn't notice it at all.
