usd carbon 2 cuff bolt issue
i remember seeing this problem a few times before, but couldnt find it.
anyway, finally got around to trying to heat mould my carbon 2's tonight, and found one of the cuff bolt recievers just spins, wont come out. is there an easy fix for this (without cutting the padding if possible) or is it something to take up with the conference?

not sure about it still spinning but mine had rounded off completely i ended up having to hack saw the cuff apart
you could try wedging a screw driver behind the cuff and pulling on it while turning the bolt might cause it to unscrew a bit

Depends how stuck the cuff bolt is, try PB Blaster or some penetrating oil first and then you may be able to just wedge a screw driver against the receptor through the padding inside the skate to get it loose. The receptor is very thin and only has two flat edges that you can hit to stop it from spinning. You can also try to get a screw driver inside the liner, cut a small hole in the black soft park of the skin on the outside (its right above the were the plastic cuff stops in the heal area, you'll have to push the cuff forward to access it) that way you don't put a hole on the inside part where it will rip more. If you have to drill it out you'll find that a regular cuff bolt receptor is too thick, I used a frame bolt receptor, they are much thinner and won't be felt through the padding.
