And while everyone wanted the rubber boot protector pad, couldn't they have just added a patch of added kevlar in that area? I dig protection for the boot, but frankly, in a sport like rollerblading you do want your goof boots to look as good as possible.

Are you even doing cess slides?? if anything that thing would help keep your foot in a right position or do you cess slide on yours knees and pretend you can balance! cess slides are on the soul plate unless you can lay down and keep your body off the floor by bending your foot so far over. you should be able to cess slide in any skate without its skin bothering the trick.
