Thread: Rollerblade liner issues

    Default Rollerblade liner issues

I have a pair of Point 8's, is there any way to keep the liners in place? The heel lifts, liner and all. I've tried some industrial strength velcro under there, but that didn't work out. Anyone out there have this problem?

    buckle your skates tighter

Yeah and sinch the power strap tight. They may be to big for you though, that could be the main problem.

I usually wear a size10 and these are 9's, I do have some skinny feet though. even cranked down to the point of being uncomfortable leaves some lift going. maybe I just don't have the feet for these boots?

You can drill a hole in the bottom back of the boot and through the liner (under the insole) and put a t-nut and screw in there to hold the liner down and back in the shell. But this wont completely solve your problem. I always double buckle skates (and in fact I just did this to some TRS tonight!) because I hate heel lift. It's hard to find the right placement that holds your feet without hurting them, but usually it's as close to the cuff as you can get without getting in the way when you bend forward.

Hope some of that makes sense! All you'll need is a drill/bits, extra buckles, and nuts/receptors to make the mods.
